Her Smile

She laughs all the time,

her face creases with wrinkles and her cheeks wobble,

she makes you feel happy, alive!

 

But…..

Just watch her eyes

Eyes like pools…. they say eyes are the window to the soul

The smile can never quite reach her eyes,

if you study her carefully it may seem like she is holding back tears,

if you look closely…..

but only if you look closely
